The rigid downrod assembles from three 8–12″ (20–30 cm) sections; use them to set the drop and center the bar over your table or island. Hang the shades about 30–36″ above the table or island surface. Takes two warm 3000K candle-style bulbs. The fixture is not dimmable, so pair it with non-dimmable bulbs and a standard switch. The fabric shades are sewn by hand — slight weave and tone variation is inherent; keep them dry. Dust the shades with a soft brush and wipe the frame with a dry cloth. Two candle-style bulbs in an E26/E27 medium screw base, around 3000K warm white (~350 lm each, roughly a 32W incandescent equivalent). A clear filament bulb suits the shades well. Is it dimmable? No. This fixture is not dimmable, so use a standard on/off switch and non-dimmable bulbs — a dimmer can cause flicker or buzz. What size table or island does the 54″ bar suit? The 54″ (1370 mm) bar centers well over a table or island of about 48″ or longer. Hang the shades roughly 30–36″ above the surface. Can I adjust the hanging height? Yes.
