Mounts flush via the round backplate over a standard US junction box. Mount the backplate level so the cylinder hangs at the intended angle and reads true. The E12 bulb is included and replaceable behind the cylinder; a 2700K warm-white E12 LED gives the warmest glow through the stone. Dimmable with a compatible dimmable E12 bulb and a wall dimmer (not included). Natural alabaster — a translucent stone, not glass. It glows warm when lit and shows soft veining and cloudy banding that glass can't replicate. Because it's natural stone, each cylinder is unique and the glow can look slightly uneven where the stone is denser; that's the character of alabaster, not a flaw. How is this different from the globe alabaster wall sconce? Same alabaster and same three finishes, different shade. This Tube is a slim, tall alabaster cylinder (⌀3.9″ × 18.9″) on an E12 base, for a vertical column of light. The Globe is a round alabaster ball (⌀5.9″) on a T-shaped stem with a G9 base. Pick Tube for a tall, linear look; pick Globe for a soft round one. They pair well together in the same room. Which finish should I choose? All three use the same alabaster cylinder; only the metal changes.
