During installation, you can raise or lower each pendant on its own wire to create a staggered or clustered look. The specified height is the maximum possible drop from canopy to the lowest shade.What do the alabaster shades look like when the light is off?The shades appear cream-white or pale tan, depending on the room lighting. The material has natural veining. When powered on, they glow warm and translucent.Do I need a junction box or special ceiling wiring for the larger configurations?All variants mount to a standard ceiling box. The 11-head fixture (V6) is heavier and may require a reinforced box — check with your electrician based on your ceiling type and framing.How wide is the canopy at the ceiling for each size?Single pendant canopy is 7.9″ diameter. The 11-head canopy (V6) is 19.7″ diameter. Larger configs need proportionally more ceiling space for the canopy to sit flush. What size chandelier do I need for my stairwell or two-story foyer?+8–10 ft single-story foyer: 3 or 5-light. Standard two-story stairwell (~16 ft): 7 or 9-light. 20+ ft foyers: 11-light. Email us your ceiling height for a free layout mockup before ordering. How long does this chandelier hang, and can I adjust the drop?+Standard drops range 59″ (3-light) to 138″ (11-light). Cables shorten on-site or extend at order. For sloped ceilings up to 15°, the standard canopy fits; steeper pitches ship with a free adapter. Can I change the canopy finish from black?+Yes. Black is standard; matte brass, brushed nickel, and satin gold available on request. Email your ceiling height and stair run for a free mockup including your finish choice. What bulbs does this use, and is it dimmable?+Each cube takes one G9 bulb—LED (≤7W) or Edison. Compatible with common wall switches and dimmers. We recommend 2700K warm-white LED to preserve the alabaster's natural color. Is the alabaster hand-carved, and will the pieces look the same?+Each 4.7″ cube is hand-carved from solid alabaster—no two share the same veining. Color and translucency vary by piece; surface variations are natural and not defects.
