Black travertine and glass — earthy anchor, calm glow. Step into the calm. This Vakkerlight sconce casts a soft, inviting glow on your wall. The solid, textured black travertine base adds an earthy, architectural anchor to your space, instantly transforming a mundane hallway or bedroom corner into a serene and sophisticated retreat. About the black travertine — genuine natural stone with a matte black surface finish The base of this sconce is made from genuine travertine stone. To create a deep, even black aesthetic, the stone surface is finished with a matte black coating — rather than left in its natural off-white state. This is an intentional design choice: the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are preserved, while the surface colour is controlled. The entire stone presents a consistent matte black — this is exactly as it was designed to be. Natural travertine — formed by geological processes Travertine is formed in the natural environment through thousands of years of complex physical and chemical processes. Even beneath the black surface, the pore distribution and stone characteristics of each piece remain entirely unique. 🔍 These are all natural phenomenon · click to enlarge Features Black Travertine Base Solid, textured genuine travertine — matte black surface over natural pored stone.
