Lunar Embrace Sconce

A closer fit for your
everyday comfort.

Black travertine, walnut, and opal glass — cosmic alignment, warm embrace. The Lunar Embrace Sconce reimagines celestial alignment as wall art. A striking black travertine disc provides a deep, grounding presence, beautifully contrasted by a warm circular walnut overlay that gently eclipses the central luminous orb. The interplay of dark stone, rich walnut, and soft glowing light creates a visual narrative reminiscent of planets in orbit or a moon phase — cosmic sophistication and natural elegance in one piece. About the black travertine — genuine natural stone with a matte black surface finish The primary disc of this sconce is made from genuine travertine stone. To create a deep, even black aesthetic, the stone surface is finished with a matte black coating — rather than left in its natural off-white state. This is an intentional design choice: the weight, density, and natural pore structure of genuine travertine are preserved, while the surface colour is controlled. The entire stone presents a consistent matte black — this is exactly as it was designed to be. Natural travertine — formed by geological processes Travertine is formed in the natural environment through thousands of years of complex physical and chemical processes. Even beneath the black surface, the pore distribution and stone characteristics of each piece remain entirely unique. 🔍 These are all natural phenomenon · click to enlarge Bulb & Light Source G9 bi-pin base Compatible with LED or Edison-style G9 bulbs.
