The glass is translucent, so light passes through and casts a tinted glow into the room.Can this be dimmed?Yes. Triac dimming is available as a build option, so you can dial the brightness up or down on a standard dimmer switch.Can I change the cord or drop length?Yes. The standard drop is 27.6 inches for typical 8- to 9-foot ceilings, but we build to your exact ceiling height. Give us your measurement and we'll cut the cables to length before it ships.Will this work on a sloped or vaulted ceiling?The standard canopy is built for flat ceilings, but we can make a custom canopy for your roof pitch. Tell us the angle before you order and we'll build it that way.Does it run on US household power?Yes. The fixture is hardwired to your ceiling electrical box by an electrician and runs on standard US voltage.Is it approved for US use and do you ship here?Yes to both. We ship free to all 50 states. All pair with nickel metalwork. Contact us to see samples in your lighting. What ceiling height do I need?+Includes 11.8″ adjustable hanging chain; can be extended on request. For an 8′ ceiling, allow 24–30″ from ceiling to chandelier bottom. Our atelier customizes chain length—email info@vakkerlighting.com with your exact ceiling height. Can I customize the size, number of lights, or other details?+Yes. Our atelier builds each piece to order and customizes diameter, height, light source count, bulb type (LED or Edison), and chain length. For deeper cleaning, use a microfiber cloth slightly dampened with water. Avoid harsh chemicals. Turn off power before cleaning the fixture.
