This measures from your ceiling to the bottom of the fixture. You can shorten the chain at installation if needed.How high should I hang the small versus the large version over my dining table?Both sizes should hang 30 to 36 inches above your tabletop. The small fixture (25.9″ wide) suits tables up to 42 inches. The large fixture (31.5″ wide) is better for tables 48 inches or wider.What's the difference between the gold and nickel finishes?Gold has a warmer, brass-like tone. Nickel is cooler and more silver-colored. Both are the metal frame only. The glass color (amber, clear, or pink) is separate and affects how warm or cool the overall light feels.Will the amber and pink glass block a lot of light?Amber glass filters light to a warm tone but does not significantly reduce brightness. Pink glass is lighter and more transparent than amber, so it blocks less light overall. Clear glass passes light without any color tint. What sizes does the Aurum Cascade come in?+Two sizes: Medium ∅ 25.9″ × H 26.4″ (105.8 lbs) or Large ∅ 31.5″ × H 34.3″ (158.7 lbs). Both include 11.8″ adjustable chain, extendable upon request for double-height spaces. What ceiling height do I need for this chandelier?+Standard 9′ ceilings work well with the Medium size and 11.8″ chain. Double-height foyers suit the Large size; request chain extension during checkout for optimal drop distance in your space. Which color finish should I choose?+Gold & Amber or Gold & Clear enhance warm light refraction through the honey-hued prisms. Nickel & Pink or Nickel & Clear suit cooler interiors. Warm LED bulbs (2700K–3000K) recommended to showcase the amber glass. Is professional installation required?+Yes. This fixture weighs 105–159 lbs and requires your electrician to install a heavy-duty junction box secured to ceiling joists. Standard plastic boxes cannot support it. Have your contractor review specs before delivery. Can this chandelier be dimmed?+Yes. Install dimmable E12 or E14 LED bulbs and add a compatible wall dimmer switch. The chandelier supports dimming when these external components are compatible. Bulbs not included.
