With a seamless tilt, the arm effortlessly customizes its angle to direct light exactly where needed. The integrated LED strip runs the full length of the arm, a silicone diffuser softening it into a continuous line of warm, even light focused precisely at the surface below: a reading chair, a desk, a sofa. The Selene is designed at a fixed angle — the arm extends diagonally from the vertical pole at the pivot point. The angle is set at manufacture to direct light optimally over a reading chair or work surface positioned alongside the lamp. The pole and base are not adjustable. If you need a flexible, angle-adjustable arm, this lamp is not the right choice — its design value is in its ultra-minimal, fixed geometric profile. Is 12W bright enough for reading? Yes — the LED strip runs the full length of the 100 cm arm, distributing 12W across a wide area rather than concentrating it in a single point.
