The shade attaches to the chrome stem. We can't confirm field removal from photos, so contact support if you need details on maintenance. Do I need one ceiling box per head or one for the whole fixture? V1 uses one box. V2 and V3 both mount on a single bar, so you need one ceiling box for the entire fixture, regardless of head count.
