If your existing box is rated lower or if mounting through drywall only, install a fan-rated brace box or anchor into a ceiling joist before hanging. What rooms does it work best in? Dining rooms over 4-seat tables, entryways and foyers, bedrooms above a dresser or sitting area, and small staircase landings. The Ø15.7 in size suits standard 8–9 ft ceilings. For higher ceilings or larger dining tables (6+ seats), pair two of them or contact us about a longer chain. What bulbs should I use and is it dimmable? Three E14 bulbs (not included). Use 2700K warm-white E14 LED for ambient living areas or vintage Edison-style E14 filament bulbs for an art deco look. Dimmable when paired with dimmable E14 bulbs and a Triac wall dimmer (sold separately). Can the chain be extended for a higher ceiling? Yes. The standard chain is 12 in / 30 cm and adjustable. Longer chains are available on request — contact us before ordering with your desired total drop length. Is it certified for use in North America? Yes.
