PC (polycarbonate) plastic, not paper. The translucent material was chosen specifically because it diffuses the integrated LED softly from within — paper origami would block or burn out under continuous light. The faceted folds, matte finish, and translucent glow give the visual effect of folded paper while being durable enough for daily indoor use. How does the touch-sway feature work? The bird is mounted on a small pivoting bracket where its feet sit on the perch arm. The mounting pivots slightly so a gentle touch — a finger tap, passing breeze, or vibration — sets the bird gently swinging back and forth on its perch. Movement gradually damps to stillness over 10–20 seconds. Don't force the bird to swing harder than the mechanism allows.
