The suspension cord has a default drop of 1.5 m and is adjustable, so an installer can shorten or lengthen it to suit ceiling height. Dust the paper shade gently with a soft, dry brush or cloth; avoid water and solvents, which can warp or stain the paper surface. Wipe the black canopy, trim bands, and metal hardware with a soft, dry cloth to preserve their finish; avoid abrasive cleaners. Disconnect power before cleaning or servicing the fixture.
